Solar Ritual

Solar Ritual

Intro

Inspired by a visit to the Jinsha Site Museum and the Golden Sun Bird artifact, this project investigates the relationship between the sun, birds, and human imagination in ancient mythology. Rather than presenting a linear narrative, the animation unfolds as a visual ritual. Hands, solar forms, and bird-like figures continuously transform into one another through morphing transitions and cyclical motion. The repetition of forms reflects humanity's attempt to understand and interpret the unknown through symbols, myths, and collective belief. The visual language combines minimal shapes, grainy textures, and a limited color palette to create a mysterious and contemplative atmosphere.
